Robert Woodruff and Kieran M. Dowling of Schiller, Pittenger & Galvin, P.C., settled an employment matter on behalf of the business administrator for a local school district for $125,000.00. The plaintiff was hired to stabilize the district’s budget and to lift the district out of its financial hole. These problems led to State oversight and auditing. Plaintiff attempted to halt the administration’s unlawful practices. However, the administration allegedly did not agree with plaintiff’s actions and fired her. Defendants’ adverse employment action against Plaintiff violated CEPA, N.J.S.A. 34:19-1, et seq.
